I. Most cap space to least cap space:
II. Alphabetical Order:
I'll post an update for these official figures in another two weeks. The overall cap number of six teams has changed since the last time I posted a league cap update two weeks prior to today, on June 23rd (click HERE for that post to compare the numbers). One club's cap number has increased in that two week time span--New England's (+$968,000)--while the cap number of five teams has decreased. Here are the five teams whose cap numbers have decreased:
- Jacksonville (-$3,374,836)
- Dallas (-$1,204,641)
- Minnesota (-$120,000)
- Detroit (-$65,000)
- St. Louis (-$100,000)
The Giants are still going to need to make more room under the cap, as I previously pointed out, in order to cover regular season operational expenses, as well as to sign Justin Pugh (who will count against the Cap while the Top 51 rule is in effect) & Ryan Nassib (who won't count against the salary cap until the Top 51 rule ceases), and give Victor Cruz his new contract.
